Pigeon Peristaltic Twin Pack
Stock Out
Based on extensive research on feeding, the 3 steps involved when a baby sucks are:
Step-1: Latching On:
- The lips open outward and latch on to the areola.
- Sucking fossa
- Small round cavity in the centre of the upper jaw. Found only in babies.
Step-2: Peristaltic tongue movement (sucking):
“Wave-like” tongue movement squeezes the nipple and extracts milk.
Step-3: Swallowing:
The back of the tongue rises, channeling the milk into the esophagus.
